Thirty-three years ago today The Marvelous One overwhelmed the UK's Alan Minter over three bloody, one-sided rounds to claim the Middleweight Championship of the World. And just as Hagler finished pelting Minter and raining heavy rights & lefts upon him, an angry, drunken, bigoted crowd rained bottles and trash upon the new Champ and his team.
