Timothy Bradley vs. Manny Pacquiao 1
June 9, 2012
What looked to be another Manny Pacquiao title defense became one of the biggest upsets in modern history--perhaps in part because of the rapidity of social media and not necessarily the egregiousness of the decision. Although the official judges seemed to get it wrong, the bout was a lot closer than HBO's commentators made it sound. Undoubtedly the judges were influenced by a Pacquiao who was far less aggressive than usual and fought mostly in late round bursts of punches. Nonetheless a bad decision for the ages, on this day in 2012.
