This friday night the Sweet Science returns to Hartford's Civic Center with a 9 bout fight card promoted by DiBella Entertainment, SMS Promotions and BossLady Promotions, to be aired live on ESPN2 in the second-to-last broadcast of the longtime weekly boxing show. In the main event, unbeaten Reynaldo Ojeda goes up against perennial scrapper Monty Meza Clay in a 10 round lightweight bout. And in the co-feature, CT's Luis "KO King" Rosa takes on Jonathan Perez in a clash of unbeatens where one guy's O has gotta go.

Twenty-six year old lightweight Reynaldo Ojeda, of Puerto Rico, is 16-0 (9) and will be making his second time through the ropes this year on Friday night. His last bout was a ten round UD win over Sergio Villanueva at the end of February. In Monty Meza-Clay, 36-4 (22), Ojeda will be facing his best opponent to date and a complete and dangerous fighter who was in two of the best TV fights of 2014.

Luis KO King Rosa picked up a quick kayo over Ernesto Guerrero on the Rising Warriors promotion on Easter-eve last month and will face 9-0 (6) Jonathan Perez of Minneapolis, Minnesota on Friday night. Perez will be fighting for the first time in 2015 on Friday night and is coming off a rematch, stoppage victory over Antwan Robertson six months ago.

In other regional action:

Seven-and-oh, super middleweight Charles Foster of New Haven meets the rugged Joey Gardener of Woonsocket, Rhode Island in a six-rounder. Gardener is returning to the ring for the first time since a TKO loss at the hands of Russel Lamour back in July of 2013.

Jair Ramos of Waterbury meets Curtis Morton of Harlem, NY in a 4 round super lightweight bout. Ramos was last seen getting off the deck in the first against Evincii Dixon just 5 weeks ago in a fun fight at Mohegan Sun that he lost by split decision.

William Foster III of New Haven is also scheduled to fight, but his opponent is TBA. Foster made his debut on Boss Lady Promotions' debut show at Mohegan Sun last month.
