On Thursday night Luis Rosa faces Luis Hinojosa of the Dominican
Republic in his second outing in
twenty-sixteen. Rosa 's last fight was an eight round
unanimous decision win over German Meranz in January. Hinojosa fights for the
first time in twenty-sixteen, his last fight was an eight round decision win
over, coincidentally, a fighter named Luis Rosa, no relation. Hinojosa is 5'4'
tall, twenty-nine years old and is 3-2 in his last five bouts, losing both by
stoppage. His record
is 28-9(17).
Luis Rosa recently graduated from New
Haven 's Gatweay
College and is twenty-five years
old. His record is 22-0(10) and he's currently ranked 10th in the IBF and 12th
in the WBC.
Jennifer "The Bolivian Queen" Salinas
faces Gina Chamie of Hungary
in the co-featured eight round attraction. (We recently spoke to Salinas and her partner Shelito Vincent,

Myquan Williams of
East Hartford fights for the second time as a pro in a
4-round welterweight contest. And New Haven 's Fighting Foster Brother's of the Boxing
In Faith Gym that headliner Luis Rosa calls home are also scheduled to box four
rounders on the undercard. Charles Foster is undefeated in ten fights as a
light heavyweight while William Foster III is undefeated in two fights at super
feather.
Plus two other
bouts featuring regional talent are scheduled.
