On Friday night in Lincoln, Rhode Island, Chris Chatman rebounded from an April loss with a convincing unanimous decision win over Mr. Providence, Vladine Biosse. The all-southpaw contest was the Main Event that capped an 8 bout card promoted by CES Boxing at Twin River Event Center. Chatman, of Jersey City, NJ, was fighting at his heaviest weight ever, 168lbs, and in Biosse, 170lbs, was going up against one of the most skilled boxers he's faced as a pro. Through ten hard fought rounds, Chatman proved he was more than prepared for the challenge and ready for bigger and brighter things to come.

Chatman got right to work in the first, and was probably winning the round when Biosse, of Providence, RI, caught him on his way inside with a short right hook. Unhurt, Chatman rose quickly, gesturing to Ref. Joey Lupino he thought it was more a slip, although ruled a

Last night, Twin River Event Center in Lincoln, Rhode Island, was the site of CESBoxing's second boxing promotion of 2015. Billed as Rhode to Redemption the Main Event pit rebounding fighters Vladine Biosse against Chris Chatman in a 10 round super middleweight bout.
